To team CABA and the clients and caregivers we serve

We at CABA are taking additional measures to ensure that we are appropriately responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are continuing to follow all established guidelines for providing in-home services, including directives from our local and national governing bodies, Insurance companies, School Districts, and Regional Centers.

Earlier this evening the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) announced that they will be releasing new directives for ABA providers either “later tonight or tomorrow” (https://dds.ca.gov/corona-virus-information-and-resources/). Once these announcements have been released, we will send an additional more detailed update on CABA operations.

For now, a few important updates and reminders (and please note that this information is subject to change within the next 24 hours):

Thank you for continuing to carefully read our regular updates and reminders – It is imperative for us to maintain effective and consistent communication during these uncertain times:

We at CABA take a great deal of pride in ensuring that we are operating in accordance with our obligations as both a Service Provider and an Employer:

1. CABA clients have a personal right to access evidence-based care.

2. CABA team members have a personal right to maintain employment.

We are dedicated to protecting these rights, and will do so unless we are directed to do otherwise by our local, state and federal governing authorities. In protecting these rights, we are reinforcing existing CABA policy and further increasing our safety precautions. All CABA clients and team members are REQUIRED to:

  • Strictly adhere to our Sick Policy and sanitization practices (wash your hands, COMPLETELY and OFTEN!)

  • Support clients in their home setting (if you can avoid going out, DO NOT go out!)

  • Never ride in a personal vehicle with a client (absolutely NO exceptions at this time!)

We respectfully request for all caregivers to respect and follow these guidelines. CABA team members have been reminded to immediately contact their supervisor with any questions or potential concerns.

Please also directly contact us if you have any questions about our CANCELLATION Policy. We feel that it is important to be upfront and honest with our entire CABA community about how excessive cancellations will interrupt continuity of care. Please reach out if you have any questions about how to protect your on-going services: info@centerforaba.com.

As always, we thank you for your trust in CABA.
